Details:
This is the 67-69 disc brake master cylinder that is used on all
factory disc brake cars. It is also used on disc brake conversions where a
factory appearance is a must. This master may also be used on 70-72 cars
although the 70-72 is a more square body. It is the same size and shape as the original
and features the bleeders and correct plated cap and straps. This is a brand new part, no core is
required.
FYI - No auto parts store sells a brand new master cylinder or caliper.
They are all rebuild units, some are nicer than others depending
on the condition of the original part. Some of the castings are badly pitted
from being rusty at one time. When a unit is rebuilt, only broken or badly worn
parts are replaced - most parts are re-used. This is why they are so cheap and
fail in a short amount of time.
