The show field - will be laid out by class, year, make and model. The vendors and the car corral will also have a designated area. Manufacturers are assigned the paved premium road next to the grandstand for maximum exposure.

All show car classes - will be kept to around 8 to 12 cars. First and second place trophies will be awarded. If a class has less than eight cars, it will be combined with the next appropriate class. As the show gets larger, or if a large group of cars turn out for a particular class, classes will be broken into more years or hardtop vs. convertible, etc.

Register early - to beat longer registration lines at the show and save a few bucks. Vendors register early to ensure your space.

Stock restored is as follows:1964-72 classes

As the car rolled off the show room floor, or as the vehicle appeared when it was new plus any dealer installed accessories (floor mats, tissue box) from that time period. If you enter this class know that the vehicle must be stock. You will lose points for after market items you put on the car such as up dated radios, radial tires, updated battery or cables, up dated hose clamps or any non factory part that commonly wares out. Reproduction parts are available for all general service parts and may not be replaced with after market parts with out loosing points.

Any car may be entered into the stock class, weather it has modifications, incorrect parts or general service replacement parts, but points will be deducted for these changes. If a car is completely stock but has radial tires as the only change it is better to enter the stock class and take the point deduction than have to compete in the street stock class. If the car has many modifications such as tires, battery, radio, belts, hoses, clamps, wheels etc. The amount of points deducted will usually result in excessive point loss, where in street stock no point would be lost for these modifications.  The stock class is designed for stock cars; the car should be 95% stock for entry is this class.

You will not be deducted points on correct reproduction parts. The car does not have to be numbers matching to enter this class but you will loose points if it comes down to a deciding the winner of the class. Factory accessories may be added like factory Ram air hoods  Factory   radios  any option that may have come on the car for that year but you must have all the hard where and must be installed just like the factory would have. or you will loose points.

All things considered, remember the more cars that enter a class the more strict the judges have to be to accurately pick the best car in the class. A good judge has to make point decisions based on correctness of the car/parts, the way the parts are restored and how the part is assembled on the car.

Street stock class mainly applies to 64-72 performance cars

A vehicle entered in this class may not have any of the items listed in the modified class. a Street stock entry may have modifications to drive the vehicle comfortably on the street. The modifications should be kept to 10. Most cars fall in this group 80% of the car should still be stock this means slight changes.

Come see the worlds fastest 72 Hurst Olds.  This car has run the quarter mile in 6.68 seconds at over 210 MPH.  Obviously it is not Olds powered but still a sight to see an Oldsmobile run that fast.  Keith @ has built a work of art with this 72 Hurst Oldsmobile clone.  For more info and a small video go to the above address.  They will be making passes during the day for your enjoyment.
