GM Delco Original Reproduction Shocks

Now you can add the stock ride feel and height to your classic A & F-Body

 

Details:

Your classic has been missing the original spiral shocks since it was a few years old. In the late 60's, shocks and undercoating were all the rage, but today in the 2000's, they were 2 fads we all could have done without. Now you can replace your air shocks with the originals to get that concourse correct look again. These shocks are identical to the originals and are pre-painted ready to bolt into place. Rear A-Body shocks come with the nut and washer to hold them to the rear end housing. Front shock hardware packs are available but do not come with the shock. Hardware packs include 2 control arm bolt clips, 2 rubber bushings, 2 special washers and stud nut. Inline Tube sells the details that separate the first place cars from the rest.

Details:
For the first time offered GM A-Body mount bolts. These are the correct style bolts with built in washer flange, plated the correct black phosphate. It has been confirmed that many cars used a different number of bolts. Most A-body manuals call out 4 bolts on each side of the car but the cars in some cases were built with 5 on each side. The convertibles are supposed to have one more bolt which we have seen only part of the time and in rare cases we have seen as many as 6 bolts on each side. The most common amount of bolts is 5 on each side, 10 total BMK11H but we offer the other sets for all the variations.  This is another exact Inline Tube reproduction featuring the exact shape, thickness of metal and phosphate finish.

These are factory correct control arm bolts and lock nuts for all A-body cars. This kit includes the black zinc bolts and silver zinc lock nuts. These are the correct exact to NOS bolts that were used on your car from the factory. They are the correct size, shape and color plated for a concourse restoration. They have a head marking with 6 dashes and the F in the center. This is a correct GM head marking. There are 12 bolts on your car, 4 are for the front control arms and 8 are used in the rear.  This is the factory correct hardware. In the 60's there were many manufactures of these bolts for GM and we have seen multiple head markings on a single car and this is one of those head markings.

New GM Upper Control Arm Rivet

Details:
From the factory, all upper ball joints were riveted into place. When replacing the ball joints, the rivets must be drilled out and until now, hex head bolts were the only way to fasten the new ball joint into place. Inline Tube has manufactured a correct rivet head bolt that will install and give that factory original look to your control arm. The rivet head is the correct size and shape of the factory original and will install in minutes with the threaded end accepting the lock washer and nut. Kit includes 8 bolts, washers & nuts. GM Steering Gearbox Bolts

GM Gear Box Bolt Set 6 pc set

These are the three bolts that hold the gear box to the frame. They are exact to NOS. They have the factory head marking of A with 6 dashes. The bolts are black phosphate and the washers are gray phosphate to they will have just the right amount of contrast against the black frame.  These are the details that separate the first place cars from the rest.

GM Door Hinge Bolts

GM Door Hinge Bolts 24 pc set

These are the bolts that hold the car door to the hinge and the hinge to the body. There are 24 bolts total.  They are exact to NOS. They have the factory head marking of 23 with 3 dashes. The bolts are black phosphate. From the factory they are painted over and have lock tight on them so  when you finally get them out the heads are rounded off and with all the paint and lock dope they are very time consuming and difficult to bead blast and re-use. Save your self the aggravation and time.  These are the details that separate the first place cars from the rest.

New GM A Body Factory Correct Bumper Bracket to Frame Bolts

Details
These are factory correct bumper bracket bolts that hold the bumper brackets to the frame. The front or rear brackets require 2 bolts for each side for a total of 4 bolts for the front and 4 bolts for the rear. This kit is enough to mount either the front or rear bumper to the frame. This hardware is exact to NOS, the bolts have the correct M with 3 dashes head marking, the washer have the raised grabber edges and the silver nuts. The bolts and washer are black phosphate.  These are the correct exact to NOS bolts that were used on your car from the factory. They are the correct size, shape and color for a concourse restoration.  This is the factory correct hardware.  These were used on many other makes and models for holding the bumper bracket to the frame.

New GM Drum hold on clip

Details
When you car came down the assembly line the brake drum was installed on the axle and the axle was delivered to the factory. These clips prevented the drum from falling off before the rim and tire was bolted on. Years later your car went in for brake service and this little clip was snapped off never to be seen again.  These are correct exact to NOS. They are the correct size, shape and color plated for a concourse restoration. Each side of the car used a couple of them sometimes one if the assembly guy was in a hurry or 2 as instructed by the assembly manual. The kit has 4.
